I may have been unclear.
My installment of SH3, JSGME and SH3 Commander is fresh from the start. (In a 'reasonably clean' WinXP environment). I managed to finish my first patrol, which took me five days of playing (we have two
little girls, should I further explain myself
) doing five saves. Now, during my 2nd patrol, I spotted a convoy in the Straight of Calais, and decided to save.
Last night I tried to startup SH3 as usual, through SH3C and noticed the Launch SH3! button was greyed out.
After my initial installment of the game, the addons and the mods, I haven't changed anything, configuration-wise. Didn't even alter my SH3 Comm ticks that I chose. So, I think I shouldn't need to rollback SH3C.
Even a reboot of my PC didn't solve the greyed out launchbutton. I think SH3C doesn't recognize the SH3 installation for some reason. If I check my SH3C ini-file the location to the SH3 installmant is empty (something in there like 'gamelocation=').
Should I manually add a location and if so, in quotes or not? Wonder why it was losing my game location in the first place?
