I'm anxiously awaiting a response to your request....I also lost my Glare sometime during a recent MOD manipulation.... I also remember that Gamma was mentioned in the past as being a possible culprit....Also, I was told that having AA set above 4X would eliminate Glare. In one case, dropping from 16X AA to 4x AA immediately returned my Glare...Not this time though.

Fixed it mate! I went to my Nvidia control panel and changed the settings to "Gamma Correction - Off" and voila, my lovely blooming sun is back.
Here is the proof!
