The gun would sink the boat. From what I read in the post, the guy prefers ramming merchants instead of torpedoing them, no surprise he bought the biggest gun possible on black market for joy. :rotfl: It's a bit like carrying a Desert Eagle in your shoe - you can shoot, but you can't walk anymore.
