Yeah I remember stories when the USN and Soviet subs/surface fleet would play cat and mouse in the Med. I think such brinksmanship would be pretty cool to try and emulate though I cannot imagine how that would translate into gameplay.
I remember on at least one occasion where a sub and surface ship collided during such antics.
