Once I got out of the harbor, I couldn't stand it anymore so I figured I would try a dive and see if I actually went past a thermal layer, maybe it would stop. Well, I got lucky and I passed on on the way down and again on the way up and it stopped.

I just had the exact same thing happen. It was weird, the thermal layer was at about 17 feet, and rough weather had me going up and down through it constantly, though I was on the surface. It wasn't a loop, because there were significant pauses, and the messages coincided with me going up and down.
