Ok, one question - why?
It's a horrendously risky, expensive and stupid plan - all for what? See, this is why I don't believe in conspiracy theories. It's just too intricate, risky and value-less to actually happen.
In the worst case, one (or more) of the Israeli diesel subs could've done it - and why go that far, when the Israelis have plenty of commando-oriented sea vehicles to start with? They're more likely to take these sorts of moves in the region. But involving the most expensive and complex nuclear sub in the world and the whole American, Russian and Iranian navies - in running fights at that - in all of this is way far out.
