I recall reading quite a while ago about WAC allowing career starts in August 1939. Is this true?

I ask because I am working on an update to SH3Cmdr and it would be quite easy to expand it to include August 1939.

Of course, only WAC users would be able to select August 1939 because tmk no other mod supports pre-September 1939 starts.
