Oh, they know the general area, but the quartermaster on our boat was ordered to surround the chart table with a wall of paper that anyone passing by can't see the exact location.
Bar talk in Rota, Spain could tell you when your buddy on another boomer left port and when they were coming back in. |

They sort of do that on Silent Steel, but its just a piece of card that reads "TOP SECRET" over the patrol route.
