Sometimes if you cant open the file, just choose between one file or another, depending on what you want. Certain mods dont work well if you remove certain files, other work just fine, so you must keep a sharp eye for that... Lets supose one mod modified the files A, B, C, D and E, and another mod modifies the files B and D. You choose which ones you think is better for the gameplay you want, and add one mod into another and just put it all together into JSGME and there you go...

Its complicated? VERY!

To enable all those mods to work properly I've spent about 15 hours editing files...

Any question PM me!
Thanks , AGAIN. You see I am NOT a modder (DUH) I am a user. NO offence intended, I have only the upmost respect for ALL the doers in the community. But to explain.. what got me into this prediciment was that I had been playing with shii v1.04 + gwx 1.03 + commander 1.03 (? damn i.m gettin tired), anyway I decided to update everything all at once instead of 1 @ a time and see what was working & see what didnt , but it seems I cant even do that much right. If I can open a file & change values .. ok but to do it so it works.. well. Frankly I dont even get the whole "drag & drop" thing. Cut & paste .. forget it. Give me a machine in parts in a box, tell me what it is supposed to do and I will put it back together for you. I built my own computer, but that is just putting stuff together. I had to pay somebody to fire it up & make it run. Thats how much of this modding thing I am able to do, so I am sorry if I seem like such a dunce at this . Its because I am.
No offense taken! I know exacly what u mean, I was once just like u, but in the end my curiosity forced me to learn a lot so I could do the stuff myself the way I wanted it to be... but I still dont know squat compared to what is there to learn, its just too much... but what can I say, Im a knowledge eater, my curiosity kills me, started as a 12 years old boy who tryed something for the first time (deltree *.*, screwed all files in the computer and my father got pissed :rotfl: ) and I know that my curiosity will eventually get me there, coz life is about learning and missing!
Yes I know about "deltree (all files)", aswell as dos in general. In fact I still have several versions of dos ( 2.0, 2.2, thru 6.2 & 6.22) on floppy 3.5 discs as well as some on 5.25. My first computer was an old (not then) floppy swapper with 2 5.25" drives. NO hard drive, similar to a commadore 64. Not sure which was older. I still have some games from not long after that time, even shI commanders edition (one of the newer ones I have). Gave away a LOT of dos based games that no one wanted. It seems that the farther into windows the operating system goes the less I am able to do with it. But your curiosity is here, while mine is mainly inclined to be mechanical. I was always the kid who took "stuff" apart to see what made it go, then put it back together so it could, sometimes even better.
