About planes... It depends at that what version of shIII you playin... If its only sh3 1.4b you can shot them like a ducks, its really easy

i never get a major damage from plane on 1.4b. But... If you use mods like GWX i advise you TO HIT 'C' button as fast as you can when you will hear 'Flugzeug gesichted!'

I hope you will fall in love with SHIII like the rest of ppl here...
