I had the same problem after renaming the first file (the one with the paw icon).
You need to have all downloads in the same folder and not rename any part of them.
If you install
exactly as it says on the GWX thread:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...oto=nextoldest
including creating a new GWX 2.0 folder on the desktop and downloading all files into it then you should have no problems.
