Make flank speed for 7-degrees 30-minutes N/110 E

" got a message that there is going to be heavy IJN traffic from Cam Ranh Bay in the vicinity of 0730N 110E. 110E looks like a normal longitude. What is 0730N? It doesn't look like a normal latitude to this rookie navigator."

Hightail it at flank. I got the same message and hesitated, worring about distance and fuel, and just missed a huge BB/CC task force.

I just started a new career out of Manila in Searaven and was sent to patrol off Cam Ranh Bay. First thing, I just had to go in and look, since it's 40 years, since I was last there. I snuck in at night on the surface and found nothing, not even a fishing junk. Coming out, I just reached the 50 fathom line, and I'm being run over by fast moving 2-column task force of BBs & CCs. Very hard to pick a target in the dark, and they're moving pretty fast, so I just shot the lot at Kongo, and now they are all running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I'm going elsewhere fast.

I bet this is the same task force your message is about, just a few days earlier.
