Thanks to all for the input. Am going to try and make it make to Trondheim without an operational schnorkel, periscopes or flak guns. Should be a swan, only 1500km to go
If I get home, I'll refit with the mast mounted RWR's since I should have accumulated enough prestige to afford them. As much as I dislike the idea of enabling the map update option, I might have to since running blind = death from above, I really would like this career to continue since it got off to a good start.
