Yes you are right... it is odd the way they have modeled a mixture of the type IIa and the type IIc/d.

The type IIa doesnt have a second periscope either they only introduced that on the type IIc and type IId. In my game I just ignore the use of the second scope altogether.

In game ive never really thought about the fuel range, just got on with it. But now as I am in U-23, in real life it was a type IIb then I might go in and change the amount of fuel to reflect the realities of the U-boat I am in. :hmm:
