H.C. Strache, Initiator of this idea of a European right-wing party, is leader to the FPÖ, the "Freedom Party of Austria". His former boss, ex-leader of the FPÖ and now chairman to a separated group forming the BZÖ or "Alliance Future Austria", Jörg Haider, was often debated in public for highly regarding national socialist "employment politics" and calling SS veterans his "friends" in public speeches. Just to mention a few signs of closeness to "Sieg Heil"-mentality.
Under H.C.Strache, the FPÖ came back to public attention during election campaigns with slogans like "Daham statt Islam" (Austro-German dialect for "Rather at home than Islam") or "Pummerin statt Muezzin" (The bell of the St. Stephan's dome in Vienna, Pummerin rather than Muezzin, the morning prayer conductor in muslim countries).
I can not hustle any respect to people who waste their rather low-budget intellect on being hatemongers...
EDIT: Not to mention the leader of the Bulgarian right-wing party willing to join this European alliance, who announced that he wishes Jews to be processed in soap-plants. Now call that an alternative to vote for...
