Red Storm Rising is a costum campaign. Its not supported by official SCS patches. So its not patched by the official 1.04 patch - like every other costum scenario.
The depth of the port where you start was changed in 1.04, so the FFG-7 hits the ground right from the begining of the mission. You need to download the 1.04 adjusted Red Storm Rising campaign to solve this problem. It should be available at e.g. subguru.com....
