... from where even more Albanians moved to Kosovo since the wars, to underlay their claim that it is theirs - honest move of theirs to create solid facts (as if they have not been the majority there already). Albania also is the european capital of corruption and organised, exported crime (Albanian mafia is extremely strong - and brutal - in germany). Cannot make myself think of Albania as part of Europe, culturally, the Osmans ripped it out of Europe. Today, the Balkan region is the area where Europe fades out and the Orient comes in, there is no clear borderline, but an area where influences from both (or all three) spheres are shifting. The Slavic populations are more European and/or Russian, the other is more oriental, and obviously Islamic.
