I've had some patrols without contacts.

I play with 1.4, TM 1.7.5 RSRDC 221, various ROW mods, none conflicting with the first two.

My most recent campaign, USS Seal (Salmon) feb 8 1941 out of Cavite:

1st patrol: North of Luzon, pick up a soundcontact at long range, find a TF built around a Chitose. I counted myself lucky, and proceeded on an end-around to position myself 3000 yards of to the west of the TF track, lying still at Periscope depth aligned with the course of the TF (this way, I can shoot all tubes without moving the sub ). I wait until the Gyro angle is about 90 degrees (torpedo track exactly abeam the target Chitose, and fish spread slightly for any incorrect TDC-entries, and I watch all eight torpedoes slam into the port side of the Chitose: 9000 tons of warship for the USS Seal!!

However, rest of the patrol (1 month!) no traffic, before I head back to Surabaja.

Second patrol (february/march 1942) not a single contact!!

Third patrol: Chokepoint operations at north end of Makassar strait: 3 Large modern tankers sunk within 36 hours = 30.000 tonnes .

Needless to say. I'm enjoying TM+RSRDC, however I've had three 'bugs'(?):

1. I was able to upgrade USS Seal based at Fremantle, with the early conning tower in may 1942 with an SJ-1 radar. Is that right??

2. In august 1942, I get the cut-down conning tower, the inbase screen tells me I have an SJ-radar installed, at mission start I can see the holding brackets etc. on the front of the conning tower, however no working SJ radar!! Could this be a conflict in UPC files between TM and RSRDC?

3. October 15, 1943, USS Seal out of Midway with the late war tower, and an SJ-1 radar thanks to some savegame editing .

I get the order to patrol the SouthChina Sea, after completing I get the order to proceed to position 125 NM NNE of Cape Engano, 2300N 12350E by 100 NM. However, the objective Star (with the 'flagpole') is at 2000N and 12330E. The second set of coordinates seems to be correct, as I get the next order when reaching within 100NM of that last position.

Could this be a small oversight in the briefing text?
