Gameplay-wise, yes, that's how it should be. It's when you're trying to test something out that it can become quite a nuisance! You end up repeating the same test over and over again to have enough samples to make the test results statistically correct (cause when I test I treat it as if it were an experiment I'm conducting here at the lab)
