I came home tonight to a fried PC!
We had a violent thunderstorm here whilst I was at work and when try to switch the desktop PC back on it clicks twice and nothing happens.
I cracked the case and the fan on the power unit spins up, the LED on the mobo lights up, the fan on the CPU and one of the exhaust fans spins for a second or two then stops. Can't hear any whir or click from the HDD's or DVD drives.
I have a bad feeling that it's either the power unit or the CPU that's dead. Not looking forward to finding out the cost either.
