Yeah, I had the exact same problems with that site. Someone gave me a link to some similar files - if not the exact same sets - but I haven't really had a chance to install and play the game. The ones I got are in the .ogg format, not MP3.

I have had occasional problems when using MP3s in the game. I think some of it may be partly the file size combined with time compression settings and the graphics. My PC is good but not great. If the MP3 is on the large side and I have a have high TC and it starts storming in-game, it can skip or stick a bit. Not alot but, it's unpleasant all the same. The .ogg files are usually much smaller and seem to play smoothly under all game conditions. Anyway...

There never has to be a shortage of authentic music for the SH franchise as it currently stands. Even for SH3, as a German crew, your options are broad. You'd have had not only access to much popular music from the Axis powers if desired, but also from the countries that were Occupied as the war progressed. The U.S. pretty much started to shut out Germany in late '39 I think, but relations with Latin America were mostly amicable until early 1942. Not only was Latin style music popular long before the war, but American recordings were available in those countries next to the domestic recordings.

And what about American music anyway? Although Jazz and Swing music was officially frowned upon by the Reich, it was still present and even utilized by the RMVP* at times. In addition, I have read (accurate or not?) that later; Captured V-Discs from American forces were quite a popular prize with the German ground troops. Would not some of these have eventually found their way into the KM somehow?

Just something to consider...
