I agree, I find in most games, the sniper rifles have an exxagerated, drawn-out, Hollywood sound to them, usually many decibels louder than any other effect in the game. |
Try shooting a .58 caliber black-powder muzzle-loader sometime...you hear a nice resounding BOOM that makes everyone at the range think you set off a cannon!  |
