What mods do you run? Are you loading the game via SH3 Commander? If YES about SH3C, then check if you have the 'Seasonal Waves' option enabled. This makes waves twice as high as normal in winter. And with a 15 m/s wind plus doubled by the seasonal setting, waves can get pretty high. |
I've tweaked the wave heights during testing and seen anything and everything that usually floats, sink.
The game engine treats flooding the same as it does damage.
