On my last patrol (GWX 2.0, BF15 from Wilhelmshaven, Nov. '39) I decided to take Der Kanal Route. Coming back home was absolutely the hardest part of the patrol, took me huge amount of time and gave me a few litres of adrenaline as a bonus. Fortunately we were lucky and made it back home. I'll never use Der Kanal again, I suppose. I wouldn't have learned this lesson if I used your teleport.
Many inbound U-Boots were sunk as far as I know.
