No mate....when you restart, your patrol grid will automatically be 'Null'. Remember what it eas and just go there when you restart as if nothing was changed. you won't get any renown for reaching a 'Null' patrol grid anyway.
For every % point of damage = 1 additional day at the milch cow, resupply ship etc.
