Yes, I also think that Nvidia cards are great and will work well with a lot of games. But for games that have distant objects being rendered as in Fligh sims and for our wonderful Silent Hunter 3&4 the problems with AA and shimmering textures becomes to appear (shimmering textures is in truth visible in the majority of games).
Probably the guys that didn't noticed any problem never had a ATI card recently: the image quality is really very, very good on ATI cards. Like that much old 3dfx 5500.
Now, after have the two cards, ATI and Nvidia - I also had the old 3dfx 5500
- I can say this with reason.
Well, perhaps Nvidia will fix this issue in a new driver soon??
