Yeah, it's going to be tough getting past the nurses station with is there a Dave there, brown hair, goatee, 43 years of age. Might have come in on Christmas eve.
Now, Dave did mention that he was recieving a military funeral, so if anyone is in the 'Army pipeline' that could give us a lead. ( Dave was in the Army as a Combat MP with the 432nd MP company and 101st Rangers ) maybe RcJonsey has some leads.

as grim as it sounds i've spent a great deal of time going through Obits and Army announcement boards - no luck (which IMO is a great thing). obviously if i find anything i'll post it here immediately.
re: Dave M Leo, I'd say that's either the craziest coincidence of the new year - or that's the Dave we've come to love and respect
might be worth giving that address a call, might have more luck than the hospital.
