those and others like the twin 37 mm cannons....
they always fire at max elevation
i spotted that the other night whilst being escorted by an Type 36 (the one with the double turret) and a few Sundies said hello...
the Flakgunners on their twin Oerlikons did a good job; but the Quad oerlikon and the twin 37s, sposed to spit a hail of lead into the right direction - did fire upwards... in the right direction... but at some 85 degree elevation!!
sad, because my escort could have been saved by those... was hit by two bombs and later on a Wellington finished the Job.
