With your AF and AA set to 16x, does the sun look like a disk as in this shot.... (apologies to AVGWarhawk for hijacking his screenies
)

Also, the global setting is just that. I prefer not to force a certain level of AF/AA if I can help it. Most games I play have internal controls for adjusting this, and some require more than SH4 and some less.
