What is the difference between dive angle and bubble angle?

Anyways, my point is that the planes go to down angles to achieve an angle of dive and once you have attained that angle (angle of the boat remains constant) then the planes should return to zero or nearly zero in order to maintain that angle then they go to up angles to level the boat off.
In-game, however, the planes stay at maximum down angles until the boat levels off at desired depth, at which point they zero.

If the planes actually stayed in this position you would be doing loop-de-loops underwater...
