I mis-read my plot one day and managed to drive right under a sinking ship. I actually would go from to compartment to compartment and look at the crew members faces, wondering if they were looking at me with contempt!
Finally I decided I was paranoid. And not qualified to drive a tricycle around a parking lot, let alone a u-boat around a battle scene!
