I wrote a similar thread on this "[TEC] Convoy commander / Destroyer Command II" and it flopped pretty quickly for the same reason,

Wait for the addon.

After all it IS the smart thing to do, but doesn't mean I haven't been doing my research in the meantime and may have some tricks up my sleeve

Now to just get some help moddling the 3d bridge view for a DD.....
