It's good fun (as are all the Third Wire sims). If you can't be bothered learning every switch and dial to fly Faclon properly, but still fancy some jet action, I'd recommend it.
There's a few sims in that line up; 'Wings Over Vietnam, Wings Over Europe, First Eagles, etc etc. They all use the same flight model and graphics engine, which is not bad. Avionics are somewhat simplified, so you don't get things like the DIANE system on the A6 Intruder in WOV for example, but it's surprisingly comprehensive when it comes to the munitions you can use, with even obscure stuff like dropping LAPES pallets from C-130s possible and sideways-firing miniguns on an AC-47 Spooky in there via some payware add-ons. You can get photorealistic terrain add-ons for them too, and there is a good modding community which supports them plus a dev who actually will answer your posts on the Third Wire forums.
Although some of the graphics aren't that spectacular in places, in some areas it hasn't been bettered, check out this review I did of a couple of FSX aircraft and compare the pictures of the F-104 Stafighter in FSX compared to the one in Wings Over Europe and you'll see what I mean, the WOE F-104 looks far more realistic (about 2/3rds of the way down the article):

Some videos which I made that use bits from Wings over Nam, Wings Over Europe and First Eagles (amongst other things):
