if that fails create a 'DOS' bootup disk with Windows Explorer (insert floppy drive-->right click on A-->select format and check the create bootable disk.
Note the directory path to the file in question and then reboot using the floppy drive. Once at the 'DOS' prompt type 'c:' then press enter. next type 'CD xxx' where xxx is the path to the file. Say in windows it was '\program files\ubisoft\tester.exe' then you would type 'cd \program files\ubisoft'. Then type 'del tester.exe' and it will ask you to confirm this. File deleted.
