@Castout thanks very much for your help my friend.

I got version 1.6.3 from the net OK and added the profile you found and uploaded for me/us. Just had a little trial with it there and it seems to be working fine.

I'm using the MS speech recognition that's included with Office 2003 (tip - it wasn't installed but it's there. Control panel>speech= if there's not a speech tab there word>tools>speech to install. Then do the mandatory training, 5 minutes, and I also did another excercise, 10 minutes). I just tried a few commands and it seems to be OK at the moment.

I'll keep trying it for a day or two, see if it needs more training or if I run into any other problems. I'll probably tweak the profile for myself too. If everything goes OK I'll upload the profile in both 1.6.3 and 1.6.4 formats in case anybody has software issues with either one.
