And so what do I read online in the Sydney Morning Herald today:
" High oil prices drove US consumer inflation to the fastest pace in more than two years last month, data showed Friday, raising concerns the Federal Reserve will hold back from further interest rate relief.
US consumer prices surged 0.8 percent in November while the closely watched core inflation index rose 0.3 percent, the Labor Department reported."
We have had it good on inflation for so long. I can only hope that this isn't the end of controlled low inflation. Still it could be a lot worse like Zimbabwe thanks to that scumbag Mugabe.
