Default HMS Hood sunk on Sept 4, 1939

I was on my first patrol in GWX 2 and after a very fruitfull 2 days in the canal, I decided to venture towards a port on the SE coast of England. It was dark, overcast and medium seas so I crept in at 2 knots at 12m of depth. I got close enough to notice this sitting in the port

I crept closer for about 30 minutes so i was close enough to get a good shot

I fired 2 fish set at 2m depth at about a 4 degree spread

Hit 2

2 was all it took.

A quick confirmation followed by fish #3 just for good measure

And another one bites the dust..

I crept out of the harbor at 2 knots for over 2 hours and headed safely towards my patrol area.. unfortunately with only 5 fish and about 40 88mm rounds left aboard.

I'm sure the Royal Navy didn't have a good day today.

Tool.
