Restarted a career with only Captain America's Officer's mod.
No problems so far.
I can't detrmine what caused the crash before. I realized I had inadvertantly installed the late war sensors mod (even though I was starting a career in '41) but it is not clear to me that is what was causing the crash from the save file.
