I think the one which I used to use was called Game Commander. I thought there was a free and pay version.

Part of the problem with such program is feed back looks between mic commands and the game acknowledgements through the speakers. So, if you really want these things to run smoothly the work best using a mic and head phones.

For sub play, I think the pace of play and number of commands is limited enough that the keyboard/mouse is fine.

I don't fly anymore these days, but I do have a programmable keyboard which is use for other games. It can be very convenient. When I was playing SH3, it was convenient having or the sonar commands all close together in one tight keypad.
