I have no problem with that. I tend to keep my speakers up loud (They're surround sound all over this room because this room doubles as a home made reccording/mixing studio). I keep it loud for the immersion. Hearing the rumble of the engines as if I'm really there is way cool. I DO have to keep the voices volume turned down. The only problem I have when I have to turn down the speakers is the obvious one....

Sometimes, if my sub is running on a navigational path and I happen to be in the room working on something else while my navigator continues the boat on it's course, it's enough to make me jump out of my skin !
