Just install the new 1.4 patch that came out this past Tuesday, 11/27/2007. Game is awesome without the mods. From there (12/2007) or so - date is a wild guess, ask again, and ALL these NICE folks at subsim.com will bend over backwards to help you again and again. - twice I am sure - And to help you with your future questions.

ALL great - the game [SH4] with the 1.4 patch and these forums is like dieing and going to heaven after you die in the game. Both, the game and the subsim forums are a nice place to visit after your sub sinks and you go to heaven.
