Airlines give preferrential treatment to handicapped people. They provide wheelchairs, help board the people first and load their belongings in the overhead compartment for them. They get special food choices too! (still don't think I would make the trade though).
During the flight to their destination they always meet the "Flyway Jesus" once they are at altitude and upon landing a large percentage of their handicapped passengers simply jump up, abandoning their wheelchair, grab their stuff and walk out of the plane. It's a miracle!

Another cool thing to do is when you book online and its a flight with meals, go Koscher you get much better fare! Love the Flyaway Jesus, excellent!
