Careful with her engine. The BF-109 is a bugger that's notorious for having engine fires if hit by allied planes in the ticker.
She's also a pain in the ass for turning, so note that most other allied planes can outmaneuver her.
As Dowly said, your best bet is to "Boom & Zoom".
