I think the French one is cool, very stirring. Russia's is good, as it the States, Australia's is okay too. That makes four, so for number five I'd pick one that technically is not a 'national' anthem, but more a theme tune for socialist and communist states, which is of course, The Internationale, a very stirring tune, whether you are a commie or not.
Unfortunately, I think there are many more naff ones than good ones, and often the semi official, or unofficial ones are better. The (official) British one is commonly known as 'the dirge' by many people, and that's because it is one, awful, definitely amongst the worst, not to mention insulting to Scotland too in one of the versus that is often skipped these days, although of the (several) semi-official other ones, in the case of the UK, Land of Hope and Glory and Jerusalem, are both better than the official one.
The one that always makes me laugh though, is the Italian one, which sounds like it is threatening to break into circus music at any second.
