My wife's is the same
I hate horror movies (I watched her fav, the butterfly effect, to make her happy, but she won't watch Das Boot!)
I wait till she falls asleep (scratching her back is the best way I found), then I go and play for a couple of hours. I'm trying to convince she doesn't need me there when she watches Wolf Creek!
