The closer it gets to sunset (I can't believe I've done this at real time since 0800) the more I wonder if this is a wise thing to be doing.
It's now 1700hours & the sun is just about to touch the horizon. Such a lovely night to die..
The Flower escorts take turns pulling out to the side and back around to the rear & then catch up with the convoy again, but I have noticed that at no time is there any gaps in coverage between their two ships. When you click on the ships it puts a dashed line around their craft to show the coverage.. It always is an overlap between them.
They are positioned 1500m behind and 1500m to the side of each corner of the convoy. the distance between them is 9000m.
The convoy is only 7 ships across.. I miscounted at first & thought it was 9 ships...my error...
I am hoping for a destraction from another u-boat attack later on tonight.
Have any of you ever seen that happen?
