Interesting that you had such a long shot on mag. I thought they would blow up way before that from the past reads...
I have had some success in very lousy weather with great big ol waves & between 300-400m I was surprised when they actually went off under the ship...
As far as speed, that has me a bit concerned.
The Type IID will only go 8kts submerged at flank.
The convoy is doing 7kts.
I have been toying with the idea of just bagging it & starting for home & looking for a single freighter instead.
I thought if I tagged along perhaps other subs would attack the convoy because Bdu did acknowledge my report.
Then I could dash in while the flowers were off chasing others & get off my last shot...
Lots of possibilities...hmmm...
