See that flapper A is closed, Gate Valve C in discharge pipe is Open, Valve D in water supply line is Open. Open Valve E to admit nessecary water. Close Valves D and E. After using pull Lever A, Release lever A. Open Valve C in air supply line. Rock Air Valve Lever F outboard to charge measuring tank to ten pounds above sea pressure.
