there is a good chance that this idiotic thing turns into a well-deserved PR desaster for Steinmeier and Kouchner. According to an investigative journalism report on TV I saw yesterday evening, and to this article in the German newspaper Die Welt

http://www.welt.de/vermischtes/artic...-Verdacht.html

the singer both foreign ministres met with to record a song where they participate in the chorus, has made statements about the murdering of van Gogh that are nothing else but Islamic hate speech. According to a female journalist from the HR radio station in Germany, who made a film documentation on the assassination of van Gogh for which she was awarded a film award, the singer approached her on that occasion in a state of hot temper and angrily told her that van Gogh was lucky to have died so quickly, and that he (the singer) even would have imprisoned him in a cellar and tortured him there, before murdering him. The journalist said that it could not have been loose talking or a misunderstanding, since he repeated this content to her. He also should have said according remarks about what Hirsi Ali would deserve to suffer.

the singer is a guy named Murat Ersen alias Muhabeth, living in Cologne, according to some people a hiphop star over here. I never heared of him, but then again: I do not listen to hiphop. He is said to be engaged in integration projects - but that could mean two different things if watching at it from two different sides. On TV he denies to ever have made such claims, and said it all were not true.

The journalist works for the Hessischer Rundfunk, and is a known name over here, at least for that part of the audience that listens with care. she has defended her claim repatedly now, saying that the accusaion of bad recherche on her part is nonsens since on that evening she did no recherche, but Muhabeth approaching her by himself, uninvited. Her version of the story is supported by witnesses on the scene.

I do not care for one hate propagandist more or less, there are so many, we can afford one more easily. what I would like to see is that no matter if Muhabeth is guilty or not, this infantile action by two MINISTERS of the state(s) (!) earns the public mockery and a PR desaster that such childish action deserves.

Hasn't it been complained about that there are no real statesmen left anymore? Well, we have showstars instead, so why worrying.
