I had my deck gun damaged by an aircraft attack (I was diving). This is an S-class. I can't repair it, but the bar on the right is not red. It says 0.0011 (or 0.011, I can't recall) when I hold the mouse pointer over it. I created a skilled damage control team, activated it, no silent running, and the gun never got repaired. This is after a couple of days running on the surface.

I saw a comment elsewhere that if you assign a gunner to the gun, he finishes the repair. I assign a gunner, and he gets injured! So I don't touch this gun until I get to port. It gets fixed in the refit.

Question: am I insane, or is the game insane? Or both?
